PDO Kenya

PDO Kenya is a user-led community-based mental health organisation from Nakuru, Kenya. Working with professionals in psychology, psychiatry and sociology, plus volunteers, PDO provide free treatment to disadvantaged and marginalised groups - including prisoners, drug users, sex workers, gender-based violence survivors and disaster survivors.

 

We worked with them in 2020 to provide mental health services to underserved populations through a mobile mental health clinic, known to them as a Wellness Lounge.
